As you walk through the various back alleys and small streets of Misaki Port, you might almost feel like you’re in a country other than Japan. Unlike the large urban city image of Tokyo, or the traditional image of Kyoto, this town has a completely different vibe to it: Nondescript low-rise buildings by the sea, with a calming vibe; and plenty of small, retro-looking shops littered throughout the area.
