Yokohama is a great place to discover a different city of Japan, one with many waterfront attractions and interesting things to check out like the (カップヌードルミュージアム 横浜, Kappu Nūdoru Myūjiamu Yokohama). It is a great change of pace, going through Japan's largest (横浜中華街, Yokohama Chukagai) and getting some street food, or shopping some local crafts at the (横浜赤レンガ倉庫, Yokohama Akarenga Sōko).

Grab some street food around Yokohama Chinatown

One of the three Chinatowns in Japan, Yokohama Chinatown is Japan’s largest and is filled to the brink with all sorts of Chinese street foods and snacks (that might actually be more authentic than you might have thought). Especially popular in the area are the , the steamed , egg tarts and more! We generally recommend steering clear of the wide variety of buffet restaurants around in favour of the street food – after all, quality over quantity!
