facilities across Japan tend to use a more traditional wooden architecture in its design. Busshozan Onsen fuses together minimalist modern architecture into its onsen to create a stunningly beautiful and modern onsen facility. Everything from the buildings exterior, the shared public lounge, and the bath themselves has a beautiful simple and minimalist aesthetic towards it. It’s a great place to chill and enjoy their indoor and outdoor baths.
One of the best ways to experience Busshozan Onsen is using the Kotoden Onsen Jōsha Nyūyoku Ken (ことでん温泉乗車入浴券, lit. Kotoden Hot Spring Bath Entry and Train Pass). For a single price, you get access to all of Kotoden’s lines for a day, entry to the onsen, a complementary towel from the onsen, and a uchiwa (うちわ, traditional Japanese fan).
