(金沢) has always been a popular tourist destination for Japanese domestic tourists. The city offers a great mixture of great food options with their fresh seafood and desserts, historical sights such as the (ひがし茶屋街, Higashi Chaya Machi) and (長町武家屋敷跡, Nagamachi Bukei Yashiki Ato), as well as one of , Kenrokuen. Making it one of the best ways to experience the best Japan has to offer within a compact and unique city.
Since the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen that connects (東京, Tōkyō) to Kanazawa in 2.5 hours, the city's popularity has also gone up amongst international tourists. It is also covered as part of the Hokuriku Arch Pass that connects Tokyo and (大阪, Ōsaka).
Kanazawa is also part of Japan's Three-Star Route, which also includes (高山) and (白川郷).

We'll start off at (長町武家屋敷跡, Nagamachi Bukei Yashiki Ato), the location of the old samurai residences, then check out the (忍者寺), a temple decked out in traps, stroll through the (ひがし茶屋街, Higashi Chaya Machi), and lastly try out some omakase sushi at (香りん寿司, Kōrin Sushi).
