Ishikawa Prefecture is located on the northern side of Japan, and is famous for its seafood. The capital city of Kanazawa (金沢) is popular for its traditional Higashi Chaya District (ひがし茶屋街, Higashi Chaya Machi) and the fresh seafood of Omicho Market (近江町市場, Omichō-shijō).
On the north side of the prefecture, you can find the Noto Peninsula, a great place to explore on a road trip. On the southern side of the prefecture, you can find Kaga Onsen, home to beautiful traditional onsen (温泉, Hot Spring).
