Okonomiyaki (お好み焼き) is one of the signature dishes of Osaka, and it's no wonder that okonomiyaki restaurants are a dime a dozen. Ajinoya, however, often appears on many okonomiyaki recommendations, and also has a Michelin Bib Gourmand (ミシュランビブグルマン, Mishuran Bibu Guruman) award.
Serving okonomiyaki in the area since 1965, the restaurant has an old-school vibe to it as the staff cook up your meal on the hotplate at your table. Be warned though, that the restaurant often commands snaking queues, so be sure to cater enough time or head there at odd hours.
To get the best they have to offer, we recommend getting at least one okonomiyaki, one yakisoba, and our secret recommendation is the scallop and vegetable soy sauce butter foil grill.
