Brooklyn Roasting Company is a popular American cafe that boasts a modern industrial-aesthetic interior, and cozy sofa seats as well as work tables with power plugs. It's a great place to rest, or get some work done. In general, the place boasts some really great vibes and a nice cozy environment to relax and destress for a little.

They offer a wide variety of drip coffees, and beans from around the world. The beans and blends are typically rotated on a daily basis. You can choose from one of two different beans for your Espresso shot, there is a bean of the day for drip coffee, and another bean of the day for iced coffee.

Brooklyn Roasting Company's motto is "to serve a really delicious coffee to that is both good for the environment and people" (本当に美味しいコーヒーは地球と人に優しく育まれたものだ, hontō ni oishii kōhii ha chikyū to hito ni yasashiku hagkumareta mono da). Their environmental consciousness, and dedication towards the art of coffee has led them to become a cult favourite amongst New Yorkers. The beans' country of origin, their farms, and so on are all carefully considered, and selected in order to pick beans that are both environmentally conscious, as well as possess a strong sense of individuality. These beans are then taken and roasted in Brooklyn Roasting Company's in-house develpped Smart Coffee Roaster in order to carefully roast it to bring out the best fragrance of the coffee.

Brooklyn Roasting Company Namba is located slightly to the south of Namba Station, underneath the train tracks. While it is slightly out of the way, it does give the place a more off-the-beaten path chill vibes, than a bustling and constantly crowded cafe like Starbucks.

The interior is nicely furnished, with a chic modern industrial-style design with nice wooden tables and sofa seats. It's a great place to get some remote work done if you're doing work, and there are even power plugs available.

Or if you're just a tourist in the area, and tired after exploring Namba (難波, Nanba) and Den Den Electric Town (でんでんタウン日本橋筋商店街, Den Den Taun Nipponbashi-suji Shōtengai), it's a great place to rest your legs and get a cup of coffee.

Brooklyn Roasting Company serves up some really good blends for coffee connoisseurs, or even for the everyday drinkers, you can get some interesting drinks like the Maple Shay Shay. We personally like it because it really blends together that unique maple fragrance together with the aroma of the coffee.

Brooklyn Roasting Company Namba's Story

Brooklyn Roasting Company isn't just an American-inspired cafe, it is actually a cafe that was founded in Brooklyn, New York in 2009. While it may not be a massive worldwide chain like Starbucks, it still boasts its unique small-time indie coffee joint vibes as it expands globally.

They expanded into Japan in 2012 with their first branch in Kitahama, Osaka. Then to Namba in 2016 as their flagship coffee roaster in Japan. Their goal is to bring the coffee that they know and love from Brooklyn, and share it with the coffee-loving crowd in Japan.
